I’m a big Shelly fan. I have over 40 modules controlling lights, fans, and appliances. I monitor power usage, temperature, and humidity the temperature actually controls my HVAC - no thermostat needed.This new small device allows me to embed a controller inside some of my appliances, no longer requiring the module be installed in the outlet box. I can move the appliance to another area and still have remote control.IMPORTANT: The wiring diagram in the instructions is misleading: the I and O connections are the relay switch and not the power output as implied. Took me a while to figure that out.The standard wiring should be power applied to the L and N terminals, a jumper from L to I, and then connect appliance to the O and N connections. See the diagram. This means you can use the relay switch to control devices such as low voltage lighting, hobby projects, etc. Read more
